Marjan Minnesma (1966) is director and founder of the Urgenda Foundation. Marjan read business administration, philosophy and law. She worked at Novem, Greenpeace and another ten years at various universities. The common denominator in this career is the pursuit of a more sustainable society and to work on this on the basis of sound knowledge, including tangible projects with results. Urgenda does high-profile projects of its own and helps frontrunners to achieve upscaling while developing a broad sustainability movement.
